A whitish solid tumor measuring 15 × 12 mm was observed adjacent to the dorsal side of the right hepatic hilum, involving the posterior glissonean pedicle (white circle). The posterior glissonean pedicle showed wall thickening (arrow), and this was associated with diffuse dilatation of the segment 6 bile ducts (dotted red circle). No gross intraductal tumor was noted in the dilated bile ducts. The white bar indicates the transection line of the right hepatic duct.
