Computed tomography (CT) after bronchial stenting and immuno-chemo-radiotherapy showed dramatic tumor shrinkage and disappearance of pericardial effusion (left), and also showed persistent lung infection (right upper) associated with sent placement (right lower). Microbiological test of the “green–blue” sputum collected by deep coughing and by bronchoscopy revealed bacterial phagocytosis by neutrophils and growth of bacteria that was identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
