A schema of the procedure. Electrocautery was inserted into the space between the external and internal oblique muscles, and the aponeurosis of the external oblique muscle was transected by a slight touch of electrocautery. The skin above was lightly pushed by surgeon’s finger which makes the aponeurosis stretched and transected easily
