The patient’s cecum and rectum were anastomosed due to the previous surgery (subtotal colectomy). We recognized two sections of small bowel 33 cm and 53 cm from the terminal ileum seemed to be sclerotic, with extraordinarily thick walls (a). We resected these two lesions and anastomosed them using FEEA (functional end-to-end anastomosis), thus obtaining two specimens (b)
