The cut surface of the resected specimen of case 1 shows a well-circumscribed and whitish nodule within the lung (a). Microscopic findings of the tumor include dense proliferation of spindle cells with a minority arranged in pseudoglands and a cystic lesion. An accumulation of lymphocytes was also observed within the tumor (H&E stain) (b). The tumor cells were diffusely positive for AE1/AE3 (c), and the lymphocytes were focally positive staining for CD1a (d) and CD20 (e)
